Capitalised terms used in these policies shall have the same meanings as ascribed to them in the Terms of Use available at https://www.bharathandcrafts.com/terms-conditions and in the Privacy Policy available at https://www.bharathandcrafts.com/privacy-policy of Bharat Hand Crafts and these policies are incorporated into and form part of the Terms.

The version of these policies which was in force on the date when You placed Your order shall be applicable to Your order.

The Product(s) being sold on the Website / Service are handcrafted. Therefore, it is likely that two items of the same type of product will not be identical, nor finished with the precision and/or finishing that results from mechanical manufacturing processes. It is with this background that we do not offer nor accept returns/exchanges, or give guarantee or warranty for the Product(s) as a policy, and refunds and cancellations are subject to certain terms and conditions. This may or may not change in the future. However, we do understand that there may be circumstances where an exception to the policy could be called for. Keeping that in mind, our policies for the aforesaid are as follows:

1. CANCELLATION POLICY:

Orders may be cancelled only before they are shipped. However, a cancellation charge of 10% will be applied.

If, despite the above, You choose to cancel the order after it is shipped, please note that no refund will be provided.

2. REFUND POLICY:

a. We generally do not offer any refunds. However, a refund (partial or full, as the case may be) may be offered in the following circumstances:

i.You cancel Your order before it is shipped; or

ii.We are unable to replace the damaged or wrong Product(s) sent to You, subject to Clause 3(a)(iii); or

iii.We are unable to replace the Product(s) lost during transit to You

b. If there are any refunds, they will be processed in 15 working days from:

i.date of cancellation (before shipping); or

ii.date of intimation to you that we are unable to replace the damaged / wrong Product(s) or Product(s) lost during transit; and

iii.date of receipt by us of the Product(s) returned under the Return Policy and quality check is completed

c. Refund of payment made for the Product(s) shall be made to the bank account only, the details of which You will be required to provide.

d. Reimbursement of shipping charges for returning the Products under Clause 4(a) shall made to Your bank account only and shall be processed within 15 days of You sharing a valid receipt of shipping under Clauses 4(b) and (d) or date of receipt by us of the Product(s) returned under the Return Policy, whichever is later, and further subject to quality check, where applicable. The decision of result of quality check shall be at the sole discretion of Bharat Hand Crafts.

3. RETURN POLICY:

a. We do not offer reverse pick up services. Therefore, if Your order is eligible for a return, it would have to be self-shipped by You to Bharat Hand Crafts at the following address:

Shop No:2, Pyramid Arcade, Racca Colony, Sharanpur Road, Nashik-422002, Maharashtra, India.

b. Returns shall be accepted only in the following cases:

i.A wrong Product was sent to you (in which case we will send the correct Product); or

ii.You have received a damaged product (in which case we will send an undamaged Product); and

iii.You inform us about the receipt of wrong or damaged Product(s) within 01 (one) working day of the delivery of such Product(s) at the address provided by You for the delivery.

c. Following Products shall not be eligible for return or replacement:

i.Product(s) which have been used;

ii.Product(s) damaged due to its/their misuse;

iii.Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of Product(s);

iv.Products which have been tampered with;

v.Any Product that is returned without all original packaging and parts, accessories, including the box, and all other items originally included with the Product(s) delivered;

vi.Product(s) damaged during the return transit, where the Product(s) being returned was the wrong Product(s) sent to You.

The decision under this Clause 3(c) shall be at the sole discretion of Bharat Hand Crafts.

4. REIMBURSEMENT POLICY:

a.The shipping charges for returning the Products under Clause 3 shall be borne by You and Bharat Hand Crafts shall reimburse You for the same subject to You providing Bharat Hand Crafts a valid receipt for the shipping which shall clearly reflect the name of the consignor, consignee, the shipping service, the address of the consignee, the weight of the package and the shipping charges. The information on the receipt should NOT be edited/over-written. The courier charge (amount mentioned on the receipt) should not overshoot the Sender-Destination-Service combination and shall be cross checked with the courier company. If the charge if found to overshoot, the excess amount shall not be reimbursed by Bharat Hand Crafts.

b.The valid receipt for shipping the Product(s) under Clause 3 should be sent to Bharat Hand Crafts by email on bharathandcrafts@gmail.com with your original Order number mentioned in the email to enable Bharat Hand Crafts to initiate a reimbursement in a timely manner.

We typically ship Product(s) within 5 working days (Monday to Friday except public, local, government holidays) from the date on which you place an order with us (such date being excluded).

Kindly check about all applicable charges, details and fine print regarding the Product(s) before placing Your order.

In the event that You do not receive the Product(s) ordered by You within 10 (ten) working days of shipping, kindly inform us on bharathandcrafts@gmail.com and mention Your order number.

Please note, refund will be initiated after the returned Product(s) reach us and quality check is successful. Therefore, the refund initiation time may vary depending upon the time taken by the courier service You send the returns by, to deliver the return to us. In case of any refund discrepancies, Bharat Hand Crafts may at its sole discretion, request you to share with us a screenshot of your bank statement.
